As well as being able to find the wearer online, or calling or by text , buddi has a wide range of features to help you and the wearer feel safe at all times.

buddi alerts
The buddi alerts allow you to be kept informed about the buddi and the wearer even though you are not with them. This means that no matter how far away they are from you, help is close by giving you peace of mind. You will be asked to choose how you wish to be informed for each of the alerts. |

If the wearer finds themselves in an emergency situation they can press the two buttons on the side simultaneously. This will send a distress signal to the buddi customer response centre and they will receive an alert of the buddi's location and the time of the distress call. They will then call the emergency contact(s) which will have been provided at the activation stage. The light will turn from green to red and the buddi will vibrate three times to let the wearer know they have requested help.  |

This fencing facility allows the member to identify an imaginary boundary around a specific area. If the wearer goes out of this area, an alert can be raised by the buddi customer response advisor giving the wearer's location. Each fence can be named and can either be full-time or part-time and if part-time the days and times selected. buddi boundary is ideal for children walking to school, vulnerable elderly people who have a tendency to wander, in fact for any situation where you wish to know if the wearer has gone out of the specified area. |

Speed/motion alert

This facility detects if the buddi wearer has hit the ground. This triggers an automatic alert to the buddi customer response centre. This option is ideal for people prone to falling or slipping down, lone workers in dangerous situations and climbers. |

Is the buddi wearer travelling faster than they should be? This alerts the member to the buddi's speed and will trigger emergency response if the wearer has not moved for a specified period of time. |

This feature informs the wearer when their location is being looked up. The buddi will vibrate twice for each look up. |

Where has the wearer been? Is your child taking the safest route home from school? This allows you to track where the buddi has been for up to 7 days. You can select the days, and time intervals from “all points” to 60 minutes. The wearer’s movements will be displayed on a map with the postcode, address and time for each point. Up to 5 buddis can be tracked at any one time. |

When the emergency alert buttons are pressed, a voice channel is opened into our customer response centre so they can automatically record any voice/noise around the buddi. This will be stored and accessed if required. This facility allows the customer care centre to "listen in" if required. |

buddis come with a standard 02 SIM. However if you are planning to use your buddi in an area with poor mobile phone coverage we recommend choosing a roaming SIM. If you wish to use your buddi in the EU/Switzerland please chose the overseas membership option. |

We know how important it is to you to have your buddi with you at all times thus giving you the reassurance and peace of mind that buddi will look after you. With buddi’s repair and replace service, we will immediately repair or replace your buddi if it is accidentally damaged or stolen. We will deliver your buddi within 48 hours in order to limit the time you are without it. The service offers a personal training session in how to set up your buddi where one of our customer care managers will call you and talk you through the details. We are available 24/7 every day of the year to answer any questions you may have and help you to get the best from your buddi. |
