How do you know who to call in an emergency?
Connect: Connections are set up using the app. When first registering a Buddi Wristband, the Buddi Connect app will give you the option to select connections from your existing phonebook or to manually enter a new one.
If a connection has already downloaded the Buddi Connect app then they will be instantly added as a connection, otherwise they will need to be invited to download the app.
Clip: Emergency contacts for the buddi are set up via a secure login to the Online Customer Portal. These can be amended and updated at any time by customers who have purchased their device online or have login access to the Contacts feature.
How many alert contacts do I need to add?
We recommend you have at least one emergency contacts or connections, however you only need one to use your buddi. There are no limits to the maximum numbers of emergency contacts or connections that can be added for the wearer.
Connect: Connections are selected from the Buddi Connect app. New connections can be added at any time using the ‘Add New Connection’ button, under ‘Connections’. Existing connections will also be listed here and can be edited and/or removed at any time.
Clip: Emergency contacts need to be added to the wearer’s profile on the Online Customer Portal in the Contacts area.
How do I add alert contacts to my Buddi account?

Clip: Log into the Online Customer Portal, click Contacts and follow the instructions to set up a new contact, including selection of which alerts that they will be notified for. If you do not see the Contacts tab when you log in, please contact the organisation who provided you with your buddi.
Who can access my information?
Connect: Only those set up as Connections via the Buddi Connect app with be able to see any alerts or location data of the wearer. They will also be included in the messaging section of the app.
Clip: You can set up family members and friends with login access to the Online Customer Portal, known as users, and they will then be able to speak to the 24/7 Monitoring Centre and Customer Care Team on your behalf about your device.
